Happy New Year!!  We hope you had a good and safe holiday season.  Chapter D had a holiday party at the Farm Kitchen in Baraboo.  It was nice to see everyone in the Holiday spirits.  We want to thank everyone that brought gifts to give the friends of St. Claire Meadow Care Center in Baraboo.  Louise, Nate and I took all of the gifts over to the center.  Like last year, the gifts were well received and appreciated.    

To all who have not heard, on Sunday, Dec 2, we lost one of our GWRRA members. Duane Pache was called HOME. Duane road a wing for many years but the last few years found a great love in riding his Silverwing.  He made many of chapter D's evening rides and always enjoyed our annual ride to Rockton for chicken. He will be GREATLY missed. But we know his spirit will always be with us. At the time of writing this, there will be a Memorial in the spring.

For the January social, we will be at Pizza Ranch in Baraboo. It will start 11:00 am.  They have a great buffet with pizza, chicken, salad and dessert.  We hope to see everyone there.

Our Casino Night is planned for an evening of fun on February 16^th.  It is at Marty’s Steak House / Voyageur Inn, Reedsburg.  We will begin games around 6pm and go right into the auction around 8pm.  Be sure to bring donated items for extra funny money.  The Voyageur Inn has given us a special room rate for the two nights.  Since there is NO major fishing event going on nearby, you should make your reservations anyway!!  Call them at 1-800-444-4493.  Join us for a great night of fun.

Remember, both fundraisers will not be serving a meal.  Please eat prior to arrival.  Snacks and beverages will be available.
